Profile :

Philip joined the project in 2006 as the Agric. Economist of the Cashew Development Project with over 8 years of working experience with smallholder farmers and businesses, nationally and internationally. He has worked with several international organizations such as GTZ (Advisor) and USAID-TIPCEE (Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist), and undertaken several national and international assignments on different subjects for FAO, ICRAF, ACT, RELMA, NRI, IBSRAM (now IWMI) and CIRAD. He has also consulted and served as a resource person for several NGOs and projects including ADRA’s Food Security and Natural Resource Management Program and GTZ’s Rural Trade and Industry Project. He has deep knowledge, understanding and experience in Monitoring and Evaluation, Agribusiness, Conservation Agriculture, Farming Systems, Database Management and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). He is knowledgeable in different aspects of ICT and currently manages the project’s Cashew GIS program and the Cashew Website (www.ghanacashewproducts.com).

He is friendly and flexible person, very responsive to good ideas. He believes in quality leadership, commitment, efficiency,  innovative and strategic thinking, and opportunity creation as means of wealth creation.
